Part of the Timhotel group of hotels in Paris, this is one of their three star hotels that is located in the 2nd Arrondissement on a quiet side street, yet in the heart of the city close to numerous popular attractions including the Palais Royal with its historical gardens.
From art deco stained glass to mosaics on the floor, the Timhotel Palais Royal is located within a Haussmann style Hotel de Charme building with the Art Deco accents as reminders of days gone by, but it has been completely refurbished to provide everyday comforts we have all come to expect.
With wrought iron work, a traditional art deco canopy over the entrance door, the original staircase and much more, the Timhotel Palais Royal is a warm and relaxing place to stay that has some very traditional features, like even the original name of the building Hotel de Normandie carved into the stone work of the facade, which blend well with the more modern hotel comforts. Yet do not despair, there is a lift now as well, although only the ground floor is suitable for wheelchair uses.
