Within walking distance of Pere Lachaise Cemetery and close to Nation with its various public transport options, the Timhotel Nation is a 3 star hotel in Paris that offers comfortable en-suite rooms with a courtesy tray and free WiFi, plus there is a terrace and garden where you can even enjoy a buffet breakfast on those nicer days.

Located in the 20th Arrondissement of Paris and situated on a street where there are many restaurants etc, you will find that the Timhotel Nation has been refurbished to offer comfortable communal areas and rooms within walking distance of attractions like the famous Pere Lachaise Cemetery.
There are modern comforts such as air conditioning and WiFi throughout the entire hotel, plus there is a lift for easier access to the rooms, but unfortunately, the Timhotel Nation is not suitable for those with reduced mobility and wheelchair users.
Even though there is a lovely terrace garden, which can be accessed from the dedicated breakfast room, and is a place where you can enjoy relaxing on the warmer days, as you will see from the photos, this is a true terrace garden with lots of steps within it.

You will find that there is a lounge area by the lobby with plenty of magazines and tourist information available, not forgetting the free newspapers available so that you can keep up to date with what is happening in your own country.
There is also a business corner with a computer that guests can utilise, however, for those of you that have your own internet enabled device, then you will be pleased to know that you can keep in touch with friends and family back home via the free and unlimited WiFi.

Yet when it comes to the buffet, whether you want to start the day with cereals, yoghurt, fruit salad or fresh French breads and pastries with accompaniments such as jams, there are plenty of choices to choose from, with the Timhotel Nation also offering hams, cheeses, even eggs and bacon, not forgetting a variety of beverages including mineral water, fresh fruit juice, tea, coffee, milk and hot chocolate.
Rooms at the Timhotel Nation
You will find the Timhotel Nation has 50 rooms that are broken down into single, twin and double rooms all having an en-suite bathroom with either a bath or a shower and a hairdryer.
Comfortably furnished you can opt for a standard single room with a single bed or a larger single occupancy room that has a small double bed, alternatively, for couples or friends travelling together you can opt for a twin or double room, both of which are approximately 11 metres squared, with there also being at least one double room opening onto the terrace.
Each room comes equipped with a work desk, telephone, free unlimited WiFi, a flat screen TV with international channels and a personal safe for your belongings. There is also a courtesy tray with kettle provided within each room for making your own tea and coffee, plus bottles of mineral water are provided upon arrival.
Unfortunately, there are no dedicated family rooms, although subject to availability you can request adjacent rooms and by booking directly with Timhotel Nation you can receive a 20 percent discount off the cost of the second room.
Access to the Timhotel Nation
Located in the 20th Arrondissement, when it comes to reaching the Timhotel Nation via public transport in Paris, you will find that the nearest Metro station called Avron serving metro line 2 is only around 60 metres away, yet in the opposite direction you have the Buzenval stop serving metro line 9, which is approximately 170 metres walk away.
Alternatively, by taking a walk of approximately 500 metres in a South Westerly direction and you will come to the Place de la Nation where you will find a Metro station and RER train station called Nation. This serves the Metro Lines 1, 2, 6 and 9 along with the RER A train line, which is ideal for getting to Disneyland Paris, plus La Defense for the Grande Arch and many other places within the Paris region.
You will find that the closest Paris bus lines to Timhotel Nation are Bus 57 and La Traverse Charonne, also known as Charonn and bus 501, yet by going to the streets around Place de la Nation you could utilise the bus lines 26, 56, 71, 86 and 215 along with the Noctilien Night Bus via line N11, which will all get you within easy walking distance of many tourist attractions in Paris.
