About Maison d'Anne Apartments
This is a family owned property located in the Latin Quarter of Paris in the 5th Arrondissement close to many Paris tourist attractions such as the famous Notre Dame Cathedral and the owner, Anne, used to be a historian and conducted tours of the city, so with her knowledge of history and architecture, she is more than happy to provide information about the local area and Paris in general.
In fact, the building itself was originally built in 1610 and spread over five floors, having been fully restored and modernised, there is a medieval cellar with its arched ceilings and exposed stonework that has been turned into a fitness area with a beautiful indoor private swimming pool, gym fitness room and a sauna, that can be used free of charge by all guests.
There is a nice comfortable lounge area , and for those of you who know how to play the piano, there is one properly tuned that you can utilise, which is in this same area that the family class as the music room, plus there is a table football game for additional entertainment down in the basement by the sauna.
You will find that this is a multilingual family with different members speaking French, English, Spanish, German and Chinese, who are there to help you make the most out of your stay, even being able to organise things such as restaurant reservations, tours of Paris, tickets for shows, airport transfers, booking a taxi and so much more and at least one family member is there at a time.
Free high speed WiFi is another added benefit of staying at the Maison d'Anne, plus for those of you who are staying for some time, then you can have the use of the washing machine and dryer for your clothes, plus an iron and ironing board is available upon request.

Although this is classed as a bed and breakfast, staying here you cater for yourself, as each of the suites is like your own individual apartment that comes with a kitchenette or small kitchen.
There are a total of three suites at the Maison d'Anne, which are suitable for families as they can accommodate up to six people, with two of them also being suitable for the disabled and wheelchair users.
Each one is double glazed, but also has air conditioning for those warmer days and comes equipped with an en suite bathroom including complementary toiletries, flat screen TV with cable and international channels, free WiFi, wardrobe and clothes space, a bookcase with multilingual books, a kitchenette and coffee machine.
The Guest Studio at the Maison d'Anne can accommodate five people with one double bed, and three singles located on a mezzanine level, plus this comes with a small well equipped kitchenette, living room with sofa and coffee table, board games for all ages, and a private patio next to the apartment.
You then have the Family Room that can accommodate up to six people with three double beds along with a small well equipped kitchenette, coffee machine, a bathroom with shower and sink, complementary toiletries, a separate toilet and board games for all ages, plus this is suitable for the disabled and wheelchair users.
The third room at Maison d'Anne is called the 2 Room Suite and being able to accommodate up to five people this comes with a double bed and three single beds, a small well equipped kitchen, coffee machine a bathroom with shower and two sinks, complementary toiletries and separate toilet. Again this is suitable for the disabled and wheelchair users.
Access to the Maison d'Anne Apartments
Located in the historical Latin Quarter of Paris in the 5th Arrondissement, the Maison d'Anne is situated close to the River Seine and only just over a minutes walk from the Metro station called the Maubert - Mutualite stop serving metro line 10.
However, within approximately a five minute walk and you could be at the Saint Michel - Notre Dame stop that serves the metro line 4, but this is also an RER train station serving the RER B train line and RER C train line.
Yet the Paris bus lines 47, 75, 86 and 87 along with the Noctilien Night Bus Service via lines N15 and N22 will get you very close. But for something a little different, at the end of the street on the Quai de Montebello there is a Batobus stop, which is the water bus that stops at some of the most popular tourist attractions along the River Seine including The Louvre Museum, Eiffel Tower, Les Invalides and the Musee d'Orsay.
Now when it comes to check in, this is between the hours of 3pm and 10pm and check out is before 11:30am, but you can leave your luggage in between these times so that you can still get the most out of your stay in Paris.
Because this is like a home away from home apartment, you do need to do your own dishes, but cleaning of the suites is done every other day and of course fresh linen is supplied on arrival.
By booking directly with the family you can get a discount off the standard price, yet we would like to point out that parties or privatisation of the pool area, etc are not permitted, plus the family have two cats.
