You will find that this is a small cosy and hotel, which was designed by the interior designer, Jacques Garcia, who is renowned for his style and expertise of elegance and sophistication, having worked on restoration projects for former palaces such as the Chateau de Versailles and the Musee du Louvre.
For a moment of relaxation you can enjoy Le Petit Salon, which is decorated with rich fabrics, golden wall coverings and wood panelling through to luxurious red velvet seating. Combining different areas such as tables and chairs through to small alcoves for a more intimate place to enjoy a romantic evening, this is also where you can enjoy a meal, plus where breakfast is served of a morning.
Talking of breakfast, this is available buffet style within Le Petit Salon from 7am through to 11am, although you could also opt for breakfast within your room upon request.
For a cost of approximately €20 you can enjoy a variety of hot beverages, freshly squeezed fruit juice, French bread and pastries like croissants along with different accompaniments such as jams, cheeses, cold cuts and smoked salmon. You can also have cereals, yoghurt, dried fruit, fresh fruit, toasted almonds and eggs either as boiled, scrambled or sunny side up.
Another feature, which is actually quite rare to find in Paris these days, is a smoking room and celebrating the art de vivre of times gone by in a luxury and hushed but relaxed setting, within the Smoking Room you could enjoy some of the finest and rare spirits, precious flasks, and of course enjoy the aromas of the richest tobaccos in this place of sophistication and elegance.

As you would no doubt expect, there is a 24 hour reception with a full concierge service available to cater to all your needs, whether it be making a restaurant reservation, booking tickets for shows, museums, etc, organising airport transfers, tours or even private shopping trips and much more.
Room service is also available 24 hours a day, whether you wish to enjoy breakfast, snacks, lunch, a full meal, bottle of champagne with your loved one etc, and all ingredients are selected from foremost culinary artisans and merchants in France.

There are a total of 20 rooms at this 4 Star hotel in Paris, which all comes with an en suite bathroom complete with hairdryer, bathrobes and slippers plus complementary Hermes toiletries. They also have a flat screen TV with international channels, a personal safe, broadband WiFi and a refrigerated mini bar.
There are four different decor themes within each of the room categories that have been inspired by the Italian Operas, which pay homage to celebrated works of Faust, Aida, La Traviata and Don Giovanni. With custom made fine wood furniture, headboards with rich patterned fabrics, soft furnishings trimmed in heavy velvet damask, these provide an environment of comfort, luxury and refinement.
The Classic Rooms referred to as La Coquette, are approximately 14 metres squared and come with a walk in shower and a double bed, plus one of these boasts a terrace.
Whereas the Superior rooms, referred to as La Ravissante, are between 16 and 18 metres squared with a choice of being either a double or a twin room and come with a bathtub or shower, plus one of these also has a terrace for additional space where you can enjoy breakfast in privacy.
The Maison Athenee also offers Deluxe rooms that are between 16 and 21 metres squared, and referred to by the name of L'Elegante, they come with a double bed along with a bathroom sporting mosaics and mouldings complete with a bathtub and separate shower.
Yet this small unique boutique hotel also has a Family Room, which is a very spacious 36 metres squared, and referred to as L'Exquise, it has two ample spaces that have been merged into one, so that it can accommodate up to four people with a bathtub and a walk in shower.
Access to the Maison Athenee
Located in the 9th Arrondissement of Paris, the Maison Athenee is located within only a short walk of different theatres and the Palais Garnier Opera House along with other Paris tourist attractions and Paris museums also within walking distance.
When it comes to getting to this 4 Star hotel, you will find that the nearest Metro station is the Madeleine stop serving metro lines 8, 12 and 14 or in the opposite direction to the east you have the Opera stop serving metro lines 3, 7 and 8.
However, the nearest RER train station is the Auber stop serving the RER A train line and if you are flying into Paris via the Charles de Gaulle airport, then you may be pleased to know that the RoissyBus located opposite the opera on the Rue Scribe is also within walking distance.
Alternatively, you have the Paris bus lines 20, 21, 27, 29, 32, 42, 45, 52, 66, 68, 84, 94 and 95 along with the Noctilien Night Bus Service via Lines N15 and N16 that will also get you within walking distance of the Maison Athenee, plus it is close to one of the stops utilised by one of the bus tours in Paris called L'OpenTour.
