About Les3chambres B&B
Located on the third floor of a building, the private apartment belonging to Laurent with its three bed and breakfast rooms, is accessible via an elegant 19th century wooden staircase or a modern glass elevator/lift.
Upon entering you will find a cosy, chic turquoise library lounge, which is the perfect place to relax with a coffee, have a chat, discuss recommendations for restaurants or what events and exhibitions are taking place locally with the host and or look at the many art books and guide books on Paris.
This is also the room where breakfast is served of a morning, which is a gourmet style French breakfast served between 8am and 9:30am from Monday to Saturday and 8:30am to 9:30am on a Sunday. Everything served is fresh, organic where possible and homemade, or direct from local artisans that Laurent has chosen personally for their quality, but if you have special dietary requirements such as allergies, then this can be discussed upon book for alternative choices.
At breakfast you can enjoy delights such as freshly brewed coffee from the Etheopian coffee plantations with its mixed aromas of apricot, jasmine, etc, along with a wide choice of teas like Earl Grey, Ceylon, English Breakfast, Darjeeling, Fuji-Yama Green Tea from Japan, etc, that come from Mariage Freres, the prestigious tea company, which was founded in Paris in 1854.
Citrus fruits are pressed for fruit juice at the last possible moment to maintain freshness and mainly come from the French Riviera, along with other organic fruits which are provided that come mainly from producers within the local Ile de France region.
When we say this is a gourmet continental style French breakfast, this is correct, as there are fresh croissants, breads baked that morning, homemade cakes and tarts plus homemade jams, which come from the family gardens and orchards.
This is in addition to the fact that ingredients such as flour, yoghurts, milk and butter all come from organic and integrated farming sources and the first meal of the day is complemented by white porcelain, fine glassware, the family silver cutlery, etc, along with flowers, candles, colourful pottery and traditional linen napkins to get you set for the day ahead.
The Rooms and Facilities at Les3chambres
As we mentioned earlier, there are three separate B&B rooms at Les3chambres bed and breakfast accommodation that are suitable for one or two people maximum and come with a queen size double bed, but with no possibility of adding an extra bed.
These rooms are accessed by walking from the library and lounge, down a corridor that the host refers to as a gallery. This has been decorated with smoked oak parquet flooring, stormy blue panelling and on the walls you will see illustrated original sketches of costume studies for the Palais Garnier Opera House, which is located in the same Arrondissement as the apartment.
Each room has custom made curtains with blackout liners and its own en suite that comes with a private shower and toilet, towels, a hairdryer, complementary shower gel and shampoo plus a towel drying rail, so although only a B&B, this is a high end option.
In fact, Les3chambres B&B is more like a 4 star or 5 star hotel for its room facilities, as each also comes with a wardrobe, desk, welcome tray including an electric kettle with herbal and standard teas, a Nespresso coffee machine, personal safe, flat screen TV, WiFi internet connection, and a Bose Soundlink Bluetooth speaker.
