In the 9th Arrondissement Le Regent Montmartre is located within a typical Parisian building spread over several floors, and as the name suggests, it is situated by the famed Montmartre and Pigalle areas that are known for the numerous cafes, bars, entertainment venues and nightlife, like the renowned Moulin Rouge Caberet, etc, plus the many other Paris tourist attractions found in the area.
Having been fully renovated to provide comfortable accommodation, which includes double glazing and a lift, they have still retained original features including exposed stone walls, an original old French door to the breakfast room with the door knob that has a fox on it, as a reminder that part of the building was once used as a furrier, plus it still has the typical wrought iron style balconies on two floors of the facade with some rooms also having views to the impressive Sacre Coeur Basilica.

With a 24 hour reception, there is a luggage hold that you can utilise before check-in or after checkout and with multilingual staff including speaking English, you will find concierge services offered along with a tour desk, so that you can organise excursions, book tickets for shows in Paris and much more.
Le Regent Montmartre staff can also arrange airport shuttles and they offer fax and photocopying services, not forgetting there is free WiFi throughout the entire hostel and hotel, yet laptops are also available from reception to utilise. Additionally, umbrellas are on loan for those not so nice days, although there is still plenty to occupy you within this hostel.

When it comes to the accommodation within the hostel part of Le Regent, you will find dorm rooms as a female only dorm with 4 beds as bunkbeds and the bathroom shared between the four women, with bed linen provided. There are also mixed dorm rooms that can accommodate between 4 and eight people as bunkbeds, also with a shared bathroom and bed linen supplied.
Towels can be rented at this hostel in Paris for a set daily fee, which is ideal if you are travelling light and do not have your own with you and each dorm comes with a desk and free unlimited WiFi.
For those of you travelling as a couple and wanting a little more privacy, but still on a tight budget, then Le Regent Montmartre also offer Eco double rooms that are small and basic with a double bed or twin beds, but again with a desk, free WiFi and a shared bathroom.
When it comes to the hotel part of Le Regent Montmartre, many of the rooms still have exposed stone walls as a truly authentic feature, even though they have been totally renovated to provide modern comforts, and you will find Standard Double rooms that come equipped with a flat screen TV, desk and WiFi, and a private bathroom, with towels also included in the price of the accommodation.

Access to Le Regent Montmartre
Located in the 9th Arrondissement, when it comes to reaching the Le Regent Montmartre via public transport in Paris, you will find that the bus line 54 and the Noctilien Night Bus on night bus line N01 are within approximately 130 metres of the hotel, yet the Paris bus line 85 and Noctilien line N02 night bus are also within easy walking distance of this hotel just a few extra metres down the road.
However, when you look at the Metro stations, you have the Anvers stop serving Metro line 2, which is also on approximately 130 metres walk away.
Additionally, there is the Funicular or Funiculaire du Montmartre, which will take up the hill to avoid numerous steps so you can reach the Sacre Coeur Basilica easily and at the top there is the Paris bus line 40, which replaced the original Montmartrobus.
