About Hotel Lorette
Located within a Haussmann style building in the 9th Arrondissement within walking distance of other hotels run by the Astotel Hotel Group, it is close to tourist attractions and museums in Paris like the Musee Gustave Moreau, and was originally completely refurbished back in 2002 by Maidenberg Architecture.
Still retaining many original features such as the exposed stone walls within the reception and lounge area through to the traditional vaulted cellar that has been turned into the breakfast room, there are also many modern features that seem to combine easily with period furniture pieces.
Since its first major refurbishment, there have been different aspects changed and re-decorating that has taken place, like the carpeting on the traditional staircase, bright orange chairs in the breakfast room through to bright yellow and pink seating in the courtyard garden, to make an even more colourful and modern atmosphere, which continues throughout the bright airy rooms.
Facilities at Hotel Lorette
As you would no doubt expect from a 3 Star hotel in Paris, the Hotel Lorette has a 24 hour reception with multilingual staff able to help you get the most out of your stay, whether it be booking tickets for a show, making a restaurant reservation, providing tourist information, etc.
There is a lift for convenience, rather than having to use the stairs, and this is also classed as a disabled friendly hotel plus it is child friendly with baby cots being available upon prior request.
A luggage room and hold service is available for those of you arriving earlier than check-in time, or leaving after check-out, so that you can get the most out of your time in Paris, plus they have a laundry service operated by an external company and there is an iron and ironing board available upon request.
When it comes to relaxing, there is a comfortable lounge area where you can enjoy one of the international newspapers available or take advantage of the free and unlimited WiFi to keep in touch with people back home, and for those nicer days you can take advantage of the courtyard style garden.
A hearty, filling or healthy breakfast depending upon your desires is always a great way to start the day, and the Hotel Lorette offers a sumptuous buffet breakfast within the historical vaulted cellar, or if you prefer you can opt for room service for an a la carte breakfast.
From 7am through to 10:30am and 11am at weekends, you can enjoy delights such as bread, croissants and accompaniments like a variety of jams, cold cuts like Parma ham, eggs, a selection of cheeses such as Camembert from the Normandy region, Brie etc. Not forgetting there are cereals, yoghurts, fresh fruit, hot beverages and fruit juices plus gluten free options are also available.
