About Hotel Le 123 Elysees
Located in the chic 8th Arrondissement the hotel was originally called the 123 Faubourg St Honore after its address and the road it is situated on, yet has since changed its name to Hotel Le 123 Elysees, which is actually very fitting considering that the official residence of the French President, the Palais de l'Elysee, is also on the same street.
Part of the Astotel Hotel Group, this 4 Star hotel in Paris was originally designed by the Maidenberg Architecture company, who are specialists in interior design and architecture for hotels and have worked on many different projects throughout the city since the 1990s.
Like a boutique hotel, in keeping with its surroundings close to many of the luxury names and top fashion houses, it was first completely re-designed back in 2004 with haute couture in mind, but still keeping some of the original features of the building.
In 2016 another partial refurbishment was undertaken, and spread over six floors, each room is different and unique, and forgetting the lift for a minute, using the staircase is an unusual experience in itself with exposed brickwork on the walls, plus the breakfast room just off the lobby is more like a restaurant dining room with a glitzy bar.
Hotel Le 123 Elysees Facilities
The entire Hotel Le 123 Elysees is air conditioned and has high speed free WiFi throughout, plus you will find a 24 hour reception with multilingual staff able to help you get the most out of your stay, whether it be making a restaurant reservation, organising tickets for a museum or one of the shows in Paris and so on.
For those of you arriving prior to check-in time, you may be pleased to know that there is a luggage room and luggage hold service, plus this four star hotel offers a laundry and dry cleaning service operated by an outside company for additional charges depending upon your requirements and an iron plus ironing board are available from reception upon request.
Room service is also available, not just for breakfast, but there is also an in-room menu card, and being that this is an Astotel Hotel, you can enjoy the added benefit of their Open Bar concept, where every afternoon within the lobby area you will find free soft drinks and snacks laid out for their guests. In addition, even if you are visiting tourist attractions in Paris, out shopping or have been to a meeting, you can still take advantage of this on the Asto Tour option at one of their other hotels located within the city.
When it comes to relaxation, there is a lounge area by the lobby, plus you have the bar where you can enjoy a drink while catching up with the news via one of the international papers available or with friends and family back home via the free WiFi.
Breakfast at Hotel Le 123 Elysees is served buffet style between 7am and 10:30am within the dining room located just off the lobby, which is also where the bar is located, although as we mentioned earlier, you can request room service for breakfast if you wish.
Some of the delights on offer include cereals, yoghurts, fresh fruit, bread, baguettes, croissants and pastries with accompaniments such as jams, plus there are an assortment of cheeses, cold cuts and salad, even sometimes salmon, along with hot choices like scrambled eggs, bacon and crepes in addition to hot beverages, and fresh fruit juices, etc.
Rooms at the Hotel Le 123 Elysees
Each of the 41 rooms at Hotel Le 123 Elysees has been individually designed, some of them even having four poster beds, others with balconies, some with unusual shaped rooms or sloped ceilings and so on. A baby cot can also be supplied subject to availability, with a child under the age of 2 being completely free of charge, although you would need to consider what type of room you book due to the size and space restrictions in some.
