About Hotel Joyce
This 3 Star hotel was completely renovated in 2009 and designed by the renowned Philippe Maidenberg, who is an architect and an interior designer that has made his mark on numerous different hotels in Paris, you will find lots of quirky features.
To start with, the Hotel Joyce has been designed to have a chic and relaxing atmosphere with bold colours contrasting with subtle tones, modern furniture and lamps contrasting with exposed stone walls, one of which has a cut out that is lit up next to two different coloured sofas.
With a showcase piece utilising Eiffel Tower souvenirs, some of which have been placed upside down, along with luxury car seats that have been upcycled to provide seating in the breakfast come dining room that also has a glass roof, are just some of the unusual features you can enjoy, not forgetting the different art works adorning bedroom walls.
Facilities at the Hotel Joyce
As you would expect from a 3 Star hotel in Paris, there is a 24 hour reception with multilingual staff able to help you get the most out your stay in the City of Lights, plus the entire hotel is air conditioned, double glazed and soundproofed, along with there being a lift to access the rooms rather than having to utilise the staircase.
You will find that there is a dedicated luggage room with luggage hold service, a laundry service operated by an external firm, an iron and ironing board available upon request, French and International newspapers available, along with free unlimited WiFi throughout the entire hotel.
Breakfast is served buffet style within the quirky yet comfortable dining room from 7am through to 10:30am and up to 11am at weekends, although you can also opt for room service if you wish and if you book directly with Astotel then this is complementary instead of the normal cost of approximately €10 per person.

All rooms are accessible by lift or elevator and it is classed as a disabled friendly hotel, but it is also very children friendly with baby cots available upon request and children under the age of two staying completely free of charge. So hence why there is accommodation to suit virtually everyone, although we would like to point out that pets are not allowed and as with most hotels nowadays it is completely non-smoking.

Located in the 9th Arrondissement of Paris, when it comes to reaching the Hotel Joyce via public transport in Paris, you will find that the closest Metro station is the Saint-Georges stop serving line 12, yet a little further in the opposite direction and you have the Pigalle stop serving metro line 2 and metro line 12.
Whereas the nearest train station is the Gare Saint-Lazare serving the Intercities, TER and Transilien trains along with being a Metro station for metro lines 3, 12, 13 and 14.
As for Paris buses, the bus lines 40, 68 and 74 are the closest, yet there are also lines 21, 26, 43 and 54 along with the Noctilien Night Bus lines N01 and N02 within walking distance as well.
