About Hotel de Londres Eiffel in Paris
Situated in the very popular 7th Arrondissement, the building that now houses the Hotel de Londres Eiffel was originally constructed for the workers that were constructing the Eiffel Tower, which is no doubt the most famous monument in Paris located only a very short walk away.

Originally purchased by a family back in 1997 and still family run, this is a 3 star hotel in Paris that will make you feel welcome with a personal touch in a cosy home from home environment, even having their own beloved dog, so this is also a pet friendly hotel, as well as being family friendly with baby cots available upon request.
There are also modern touches including air conditioning, free high speed WiFi provided by fibre optic and a lift to access the various floors, although we would like to point out that it is not suitable for the disabled.

With staff able to speak English as well as French you will find reception and concierge services are available from 7:30am through to 7:30pm and they are there to help you get the most our of your time in the city of lights, whether it be organising a taxi, making a restaurant reservation or even booking tickets for many tourist attractions in Paris.
For those of you arriving prior to check-in, you may be pleased to know that there is a secure luggage hold, and plug adaptors are available from reception if you haven't got one or forgotten to pack it.

Some of the items on offer include cereals, yoghurts sourced from a farm near to Chateau de Versailles, apple compote, dried fruits, fresh fruit, fruit salad, traditional baguettes and viennoiseries like croissants from the local bakery, accompaniments like jams, cold cuts such as ham, plus cheeses, not forgetting fruit juices and hot beverages.

Each room at Hotel de Londres Eiffel is slightly different, whether it be the wallpaper or other elements of the design, and all are soundproofed, double glazed and have air conditioning along with an en suite bathroom with either a shower or bath, hairdryer and complementary toiletries provided by the French company l'Occitane.
Also the rooms at Hotel de Londres Eiffel have a desk, personal safe, telephone, flat screen TV with international channels and a minibar. Although, we would like to point out that complementary drinks in the minibar are only available upon arrival through booking certain rooms, such as those with the Eiffel Tower view on the 6th floor, and in some rooms the minibar is therefore not stocked.

Please also bear in mind that typical of many hotels in Paris, rooms can be reasonably small, especially if you opt for the Cosy or Poets rooms of Hotel de Londres Eiffel that are suitable for one person or can be booked as a small double.
However, being a family friendly, this 3 star hotel has baby cots available upon request and subject to availability, yet please note these are only able to be added to certain rooms that have a little more space if you are thinking of travelling as a family.

Additionally, we would like to point out that Hotel de Londres Eiffel has a detached house overlooking their courtyard that has two floors without a lift and these include some of the more spacious rooms that this hotel calls Pavillon, which also includes a Triple room along with connecting rooms, that are suitable for up to four people.
Access to the Hotel de Londres Eiffel
Located in the 7th Arrondissement, when it comes to reaching the Hotel de Londres Eiffel via public transport in Paris, you will find that the bus lines 42, 69 and 86 on the Avenue Joseph Bouvard at the Champ de Mars Gardens or the bus line 80 and line 92 in the opposite direction on the Avenue Bosquet will all get you within easy walking distance of less than 200 metres.

Alternatively head to the Ecole Militaire Metro station that serves Metro line 8 and around here you have bus stops that also serve the bus line 28 and line 82.
Whereas the nearest RER train station is situated in a northerly direction called the Pont de l'Alma stop serving the RER C trains, whereas if you walk in a north easterly direction you have the Invalides station, which serves the RER C train line along with being a metro stop for line 8 and line 13.

But for those of you who are interested in discovering more of Paris and seeing tourist attractions in other parts of the city, you could opt for one of the tours in Paris and there are several companies that provide bus tours.
To start with you have OpenTour who operate a hop on and hop off tour bus service with open top double decker buses and having three different routes you can enjoy, on the Grand Tour Blue tour route you will need stop 14, called the Tour Eiffel stop located on the Quai Branly.

Then you have Big Bus Paris, which also offer a hop on and hop tour service, and the nearest stop to Hotel de Londres Eiffel is in the middle of the Champ de Mars gardens by the fountains, which is on the Red tour route as stop 2 on the Avenue Joseph Bouvard.
However, for something different, you could also enjoy the Batobus, which is a water bus operating a hop on and hop off service up and down the River Seine with docking stations at close to many popular tourist attractions including the famous Louvre Museum, with their main dock being at the foot of the Eiffel Tower, right by some of the River Seine sightseeing boat tours including Vedettes de Paris and Bateaux Parisiens who also do dinner cruises.
Yet if you are thinking of getting to Chateau de Versailles for a day out, but would rather not utilise public transport in Paris like the RER trains to get there, you will find a company called Versailles Express who operate a package tour service as well as a shuttle service to and from the famous former royal palace, and this company has their pick up and drop off point at the base of the Eiffel Tower.
