Situated on a side street, which is one-way and relatively quiet, the Hotel Alexandrie is in the 12th Arrondissement within walking distance of the Gare de Lyon train station and some popular tourist attractions in Paris including the Canal Saint-Martin and the historical Jardin des Plantes where you can find the Natural History Museum and much more.

Access to the Hotel Alexandrie
Situated in the 12th Arrondissement, when it comes to reaching the Hotel Alexandrie, you will find that the Gare de Lyon train station is only around 450 metres away, serving metro line 1 and metro line 14. This train station is also where you can access the RER A train, RER D train and Transilien R train line along with the TER regional trains and TGV high speed trains going far further afield including to other countries.
Being in such a convenient location for public transport in Paris, there is also the Gare d'Austerlitz train station located on the opposite bank of the River Seine within a walking distance of approximately 750 metres. This serves the RER C train line along with Intercities and TER trains plus the metro line 5 and metro line 10 as well. However, if you are thinking of utilising the metro line 5, there is a Metro station nearer before you cross the River Seine called the Quai de la Rapee stop.
When it comes to the Paris buses you will find that the bus lines 24, 29, 57, 61, 63, 87 and 91 along with the Noctilien Night Bus on lines N01, N11, N16, N31, N32, N33, N34, N130, N131, N132 and N134 will all get you within easy walking distance of the Hotel Alexandrie as they are all situated right by the Gare de Lyon, many on the Boulevard Diderot.
Although, if you head towards the River Seine, along the Quai de la Rapee there is a bus stop that serves the bus line 72 and just before you reach this road, on the Boulevard Diderot further down from where many of the other buses mentioned above, there is a bus stop serving bus line 77 along with the Noctilien N02 night bus line as well.
Additionally, for something a little different, right by the Jardin des Plantes you will find there is a docking station for the Batobus water bus operating up and down the River Seine as a hop on and hop off water bus service that stops close to some of the most popular tourist attractions in Paris including the iconic Eiffel Tower and the famous Louvre Museum.
