Part of 9 Hotel Collection, only opened at the end of 2018, the Hotel 9Confidentiel is a chic unusual boutique style 5 Star Hotel that was totally designed by the renowned designer Philippe Starck, which is located in the popular 4th Arrondissement within walking distance of numerous Paris tourist attractions like the Pompidou Centre, the lively Place de la Bastille with the Opera Bastille and numerous museums such as the Musee Carnavalet and the Musee Picasso.
It is situated within walking distance of numerous different entertainment choices as well as a wide variety of different restaurants in Paris that vary immensely in their style, the cuisine and of course price, but this is just as well, because although light snacks are available at any time of day or night at Hotel 9Confidentiel, there is actually no restaurant.

Hotel 9Confidentiel has teamed up with a company called Maison Codage Paris, which is a French house of cosmetology based upon ingredients perfected into serums etc that are specifically designed for the skin, and each is customised to the individual and their skin's needs through a comprehensive skin diagnosis catering to the individual, whether it be a facial, body massage and so on.
Pur Confidential treatment is one that has been especially created for the Hotel 9Confidentiel as a one hour deep full body massage designed to sooth and relax, which is performed within the comfort and privacy of your own room, yet many other aspects are available including manicures, pedicures, even hairdressing and make-up can also be arranged and many aspects are available for men as well as women.
Dining and Le Confidence Bar
Breakfast is available from 7am through to 11am served as an all you can eat buffet in a French continental style that includes fresh fruit juices, hot beverages, bread, pastries, jams etc. There are also cereals, yoghurts, fresh fruit salad and a many other a la carte options available including smoked salmon, a variety of cold cuts like Serrano ham, various aged cheeses plus hot options including bacon, sausages potatoes and eggs that are cooked in a variety of styles such as fried or scrambled.

This boutique hotel has a lobby come lounge area along with a bar called Le Confidence, which takes you back to the 1920s and is a place for living and enjoyment, especially with the signature cocktails created by the world-famous mixologist Nico de Soto available of an evening from 5pm through to either midnight or 1am depending upon the day, although there are so many other alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks to choose from.

Being this is a small boutique hotel, there are only 29 rooms, of which 3 are suites, and all having been designed by Philippe Starck, they are presented with pastel colours, oak parquet flooring, Murano glass, brass and a sweet jar style theme referring back to the roaring 20s era, also being given an individual name to each one such as Claudine, Jacqueline or Simone.
To start with you have 16 Superior rooms that are approximately 19m squared, with adjoining rooms being available for families, then there are 6 Club rooms at around 26m squared, 2 of which are suitable for those with reduced mobility and wheelchair users, being room numbers 11 and 21. In addition, there are 4 Executive rooms that are around 29m squared and these look overlook the Hotel 9Confidentiel patio and its greenery.
The Valentine Suite at around 32m squared is located on the 6th floor of this 5 Star hotel, which is the highest floor, and it has 2 private balconies where you can admire the Paris rooftops in addition to the living area with sofas for added relaxation.
The Marcelle Suite is 42m squared and located on the 5th floor of Hotel 9Confidential it is 1 of the 2 largest, which also has a separate bath as well as a rain effect shower, and of course the living area with coffee table sofa, etc.
Whereas the Aurore Suite or Aurora Suite, is again around 42 metres squared and is located on the 6th floor that also has 1 private balcony plus the lounge area and a bath in addition to the shower.
Each of the rooms and suites comes equipped with free high-speed WiFi, a flat-screen TV with international channels, USB sockets integrated into the head of the bed, a personal safe, free mineral water upon arrival and a courtesy tray for making your own tea and coffee.
The bathrooms are kitted out with lots of mirrors and purely marble, even the basins are cut out of the marble tops, with each having a rain effect shower, bar two suites that also have a bath as well, and as you would expect, you get complementary bathroom products and hairdryer along with bathrobes plus slippers for an even more comfortable stay.
Access to the Hotel 9Confidentiel
Situated in the 4th Arrondissement, when it comes to reaching this small designer hotel via public transport in Paris, you will find that the nearest Metro station is the Hotel de Ville stop serving metro lines 1 and 11, although walking further in a westerly direction and you would reach the Chatelet stop, which serves lines 1, 4, 7, 11 and 14, and Easterly is the Saint-Paul stop serving metro line 1.
As for the nearest train station, you will find this located in a north westerly direction called the Chatelet - Les Halles stop that serves the RER A, B and D lines and it is the RER B train line that can get you to Charles de Gaulle Airport or Orly Airport with additional connections.
When it comes to the Paris Buses, the closest bus lines to Hotel 9Confidentiel are 67, 69, 72, 76 and 96 along with the Noctilien Night Bus Service via lines N11 and N16, which all stop on the Rue de Rivoli, whereas on the Rue des Archives a little further westerly and you have bus 75.
