About the Aloha Hostel
With the founders having once been backpackers themselves, this hostel has been running since 1989, yet has recently been renovated to provide bright, comfortable and basic rooms that have bunk beds.
Breakfast in the form of a continental French style breakfast with bread, croissants, accompaniments like honey, hot beverages and fresh fruit is provided each morning and comes included within the price per person.
You will find that there are multilingual staff and all speak French and English providing tourist information, maps, etc, and there is free WiFi throughout the Aloha Hostel, yet for those of you who do not have your own internet capable device, there are computers available for your use.
For those of you on a tight budget not wishing to eat out, there is a fully equipped kitchen that you can utilise, along with a communal lounge area where you can meet up with likeminded travellers, which includes different games including table football.
In addition to this, the hostel provides cheap drinks and also organises events such as music and film nights for a cosmopolitan social atmosphere.
Accommodation at the Aloha Hostel
When you book at the Aloha Hostel you will find that sheets are included within the cost, although they do not supply towels, but breakfast and internet access is also included within the cost, plus small lockers are provided to keep your valuables safe and secure and all bathrooms have a shower and are shared.
There are double rooms available, which is the most expensive option, but are ideal for couples travelling together on a tight budget, yet the majority are dorm rooms with bunk beds catering for 4 people, although there are mixed dormitories with 6 to 10 beds that also have a fridge.
Access to the Aloha Hostel
You will find the Aloha Hostel located in the 15th Arrondissement of Paris and the closest Metro stations are Volontaires stop or the Vaugirard stop, both serving metro line 12, however there is also the Sevres - Lecourbe stop serving Line 6 or La Motte-Picquet - Grenelle stop that serves metro lines 6, 8 and 10.
The Paris bus lines 39, 70, 80 and 89 will also get you within easy walking distance of this hostel along with the Noctilien Night Bus service via Lines N13 and N62.
