About the SoGymnase Comedy Club
The SoGymnase was the first of its kind comedy club in the city dedicated to the ex pat community and those on holiday in Paris, who wanted to experience live entertainment in the English language.
And located within the historical Theatre du Gymnase Marie Bell, it is situated in its own dedicated room that has exposed beams and a small stage, along with a bar serving cocktails and other drinks for an enjoyable evening on comfortable seats, and some of these do have tables.
Keeping true to its origins, the SoGymnase Comedy club provides purely English acts every night of the week from one man shows to stand up comedy, and for an entirely different form of entertainment in Paris, this venue has seen many international stars, some of which have appeared on television shows such as The Late Show with David Letterman.
There is a wide variety of different acts, and theme nights such as Ladies Night or Open Mic, plus music concerts are also held here, yet the place can also be privatised for your own special event.
