About Big Bus Paris sightseeing tours

Originally called Les Cars Rouges, they merged with the company Big Bus to become part of the largest worldwide bus tour company operating in numerous cities, with Big Bus Paris providing a hop on and hop off tour bus service to key locations and tourist attractions around Paris, plus each double decker bus has on board WiFi.

So below you will find Big Bus Paris maps, timetables, ticket prices and information about these tour buses that operate all year round, along with where the bus stops are located, not forgetting that there is also a night route and the option to add a River Seine cruise as well.

Big Bus Paris sightseeing tour map for Red and Blue bus lines with stops and timetables

Big Bus Paris tour map for Red and Blue lines
Here you can see the Big Bus Paris maps showing the Red Tour with its first main stop being at the Eiffel Tower, which is what you can use as a hop on and hop off service utilising the route as many times as you like during the time of your ticket along with timetables for the start and finish times for a full tour along with the last pick up time at each stop.

Additionally, you can also see the Blue Route that goes around Montmartre, starting from the Louvre - Pyramide stop, which is also where you can change routes to the Red Tour. However, we would like to point out that some stops on the Blue Route are a hop off point only, which means they do not have a point for a pick-up and you would have to walk to a pick up point or utilise other public transport in Paris.

For those of you that choose specific ticket options, you can also enjoy a River Seine cruise with Bateaux Parisiens who have partnered up with Big Bus Paris to provide a round trip river cruise, and again you can see the tour route on the maps, which is just like the bus tours, as they also have commentary available in several different languages.

Buying Big Bus tickets:

You can purchase tickets directly online at their website bigbustours.com which are valid for a maximum of 6 months or alternatively they are available at any of the ticket counters at the hop on and hop off stops along with their main base at the Big Bus number 4 Bus stop where both routes also interchange.

But if ordering prior, you need to either print or have your purchase information available on your smart phone in order to produce this at the ticket office so when looking at utilising the service, a validated redemption ticket will be issued for seamless travel of the Big Bus Paris hop on hop off service.

Additionally, we would like to point out that approximately a third of all buses are disabled friendly allowing for wheelchair access on the lower level.  Yet if you have a 1 day or 2 day pass, this is only valid for those 1 or 2 consecutive days, so make sure you get the most out of it by using it as early as possible, as it will not carry over.
