When visiting Paris you will no doubt want to see some of the many tourist attractions in this capital city, and one great way of relaxing as well as doing some sightseeing is to take a River Seine Cruise, one such cruise boat company that offers this service is the Vedettes de Paris, who will take you up and down the River Seine passing by some of the amazing monuments and landmarks this city has to offer.

As you can tell from this photograph, the sightseeing cruises on the Vedettes de Paris start from a fabulous location at the quay under the Eiffel Tower, and in this image you can see two of their boats moored up next to the floating dock, which are actually smaller and more intimate that some of the River Seine cruise boats that you could go on, yet they still offer good value tours as well as the more luxurious cruises depending upon your budget.

Here you can see a photo of the Vedettes de Paris floating dock by the quayside, which is called the Port de Suffren, and even though you can see steps to negotiate to reach their dock, there is also disabled access from the opposite way, plus they have their own boutique providing numerous different types of souvenirs for an even more unforgettable holiday in Paris.

Not only do the Vedettes de Paris provide snack and dinner cruises on board their tour boats along the River Seine, there is also an option to enjoy a meal or drink at the quay, while looking out at the barges and houseboats in its fabulous location right at the base of the Eiffel Tower, and this is a photo we took of the entrance to the Salon des Vedettes that gives you access to their floating restaurant.

This is a photo we took by the quay where you would board for the sightseeing cruises run by the Vedettes de Paris company, and while were there, as you can see from this image, there was a piano on the dock, which was a great amusement for children, yet this company also provides special cruises designed specifically for children up to the age of 12, although at present these are in French only.

In this image you can see a Vedettes de Paris boat on the River Seine that has just passed under the Pont Alexandre III bridge on one of its 1 hour cruises, which start from the base of the Eiffel Tower, and there are numerous different options you can choose from, such as just sightseeing with commentary or a snack cruise where you are provided a drink and snack whilst on board.

On a lovely sunny day, the open top deck of one of the sightseeing boats from the Vedettes de Paris River Seine cruises, provides a great view of all the different monuments you will pass, just like in this photo as the boat is going towards La Conciergerie, and with added commentary in different languages, you will be able to discover more about these historical landmarks on the one hour cruise on the River Seine.

Whether you wish to do a sightseeing tour on the River Seine, a Champagne Tasting cruise or enjoy a three course evening meal, the Vedettes de Paris is a company that offers you all of these and many other options to suite all budgets, and this is a photo we took of one of their fleet of boats while it was on a sightseeing cruise, which are available at different times throughout the year, although on certain days such as Valentines Day or Bastille Day, there are only specific options available at different costs.

This is a photo we took that shows the Assemblee Nationale building with its Corinthian columns overlooking the River Seine, but it is also more well known as the Palais Bourbon, and this image was taken from the opposite bank just as one of the cruise boats run by the Vedettes de Paris was going by and under the Pont de la Concorde bridge.

We took this photo of the Vedettes de Paris sightseeing cruises floating dock, which is located at the Port Saffron at the base of the Eiffel Tower, and if you look closely you will see the steps going up towards the Pont d'Iena bridge over the River Seine and towards the childrens Carrousel before you reach the most famous of all landmarks in Paris.

We took this photo of the Vedettes de Paris cruise boat and its dock from the Pont d'Iena bridge over the river, and although they have a terrace restaurant, there is also the floating dock that includes a restaurant, so you have the option of a meal and a sightseeing cruise on the River Seine with this company that was originally founded back in 1976, and in fact, since 2007 there have been three new boats added to their fleet.

On a lovely sunny day we took this photo showing a part of the Vedettes de Paris floating dock by the Port de Suffren, which has lovely plant and flower arrangements on the quayside, yet if you look carefully at this image, you will see that there is a sightseeing boat docked, with people waiting on the open deck to discover the numerous monuments and tourist attractions along the River Seine from a completely different perspective.
