We took this photo while standing at an intersection of two alleyways called the Allee de Diane and the Allee sous couvert nord, while looking in a south easterly direction over a section of the Jardin des Tuileries called the Demi-lune carre de fer nord.

And if you look very carefully you can see some of the numerous statues that have been placed within this historical garden that has become like an open are museum, which has been the responsibility of the Musee du Louvre since 2005, a part of which, you can see in the background.
