Aristide Maillol is a famous French artist that is renowned for producing works depicting the female figure, and it was his last muse and model, Dina Vierny, that decided to donate several of his works to the City of Paris, which were installed within the Jardin des Tuileries in 1964.

So here you can see a statue called L'Action Enchainee, which we took from the area dedicated to these sculptures by Maillol called the Jardin du Carrousel, which was as we were looking in an south easterly direction towards the famous Musee du Louvre, with one of the pyramids just visible in the courtyard called the Cour Napoleon.
