Unfortunately trees do not live forever, and sometimes die, get diseased or even get blown down by storms, so when we took this photograph, initially we thought this was just one of those unfortunate but natural occurrences, however, upon closer examination we realised this was not the case.

In fact, this is one of the modern art sculptures that can be found within the Tuileries Gardens in the southern part of the garden along Allee de Castiglione, which was produced in bronze by the artist Giuseppe Penone, and designed to look like a fallen down tree, it is named L'Arbre des Vyelles, or in English, The Tree of Vowels, however, being that this sculptor was from Italy, it would be Vocal Tree in his language.
