Within the Jardin des Tuileries in an area known as the Grand Couvert and looking in a north easterly direction towards the Monument to Charles Perrault, you can see that this is an area covered with hundreds and hundreds of trees.

Now this monument is in a small garden area next to the childrens trampolines and it is in a very apt location, due to the fact that Charles Perrault was a story teller who laid down the foundations for what we know as a fairy tale, and back in the 1600s he wrote stories such as Puss in Boots, which is why the sculptor decided to depict this character within the monument.
