While we were in the Jardin des Tuileries in the Grand Couvert area of the garden, we took this photograph showing a statue called L'Ami de Personne, which is one of the more recent sculptures to be added to this open air museum.

Now this contemporary art bronze sculpture by Erik Dietman was designed to represent a person looking for a friend, and this is positioned within a small garden area, known as a parterre, which is called the Bosquet nord-est, and this was being replanted with newer trees at the time we took this photo.
