HD photograph of Allee des Feuillants in Jardin des Tuileries looking easterly - Page 43
Here you can see a view looking through an archway into an area of the Jardin des Tuileries known as the Grand Couvert and along the tree lined alleyway called the Allee des Feuillants, and to capture this image we were standing on the Terrasse du Jeu de Paume looking in an easterly direction towards the famous Musee du Louvre.

Yet this is not any old archway, as this is actually the back part of a large monument dedicated to Waldeck-Rousseau that was sculpted by Laurente Honore Marqueste, and originally had a bronze sculpture as well, but this unfortunately got melted down and only the marble statues remain.
