This photo is of the statue called the Pericles Distribuant des Couronnes Aux Artistes, which was produced in marble by Jean-Baptiste Pere Debay in the 1800s, and was first put in place within the Jardin des Tuileries in 1835.

This can be found in the Grand Carre area of the garden by the Grand Bassin Rond, and as we were looking in a south easterly direction, behind this statue you can see a section of the Tuileries garden called the Demi-lune Reserve sud and the Vivier sud small round basin.
