This is a view looking in a southerly direction from the immaculately kept Jardin du Carrousel section of the Tuileries Gardens, along the pathway heading towards the Aile de Flore and Pavillon de Flore sections of the famous Musee du Louvre in the 1st Arrondissement of Paris.

Fortunately, this particular wing of The Louvre was saved from destruction when the fire set by the Communards during the Paris Commune totally destroyed the Palais des Tuileries, and this museum did not suffer anywhere near the amount of devastation as the former palace, which when demolished opened up the area to the Tuileries Gardens, and this is when the Carrousel Garden was first laid out.
