You will find many historical statues located within the Jardin des Tuileries, some of which were brought to this royal residence in Paris from other castles such as the Chateau de Versailles, just like this one called Vertumne that was one of the first statues to be positioned in these gardens in the 1700s.

Now this can be found in the Fer a Cheval area of the Tuileries Gardens looking onto the octagonal basin, and we took this photo looking towards the mass of trees behind in a easterly direction, which is the start of the Grand Couvert area.
