HD photograph of Roseraie sud inside Jardin des Tuileries looking southerly - Page 370
Here you can see a view looking towards one of the terraces, which is located on the southern side of the Tuileries Gardens, and this particular terrace is home to the Musee de l'Orangerie, the roof of which you can see in this photo, however, in front of this at ground level, you can see a garden area called the Roseraie sud.

Now this particular garden has been designed in a formal way of a Jardin a la Francaise, utilising a method called Broderie, which in fact translates in English to Embroidery, and this is a decorative pattern created for a parterre, or ground level garden area, with trimmed hedges and flowers, and this is a mirror image of the Roseraie nord on the opposite side of the garden.
