There is a statue either side of the ornate gates marking the western entrance to the Tuileries Garden at the Place de la Concorde, and this one is called the La Renommee montee sur Pegase, which in English translates to Fame Mounted on Pegasus.

It was sculpted by Antoine Coysevox and was originally in the estate of King Louis XIV at the Chateau de Marly before it was moved to the Jardin des Tuileries in the early 1700s, however, what you see today is a copy, because the original is now preserved within the impressive Musee du Louvre, located at the opposite end of the gardens.
