Within the Tuileries Gardens there are numerous different walkways that cross between different sections of the gardens that were laid out in a totally symmetrical design back in the 1600s, and maintained to a very high standard, this free historical park is just as popular now as it was when first opened to the public.

And we took this photograph looking in a northerly direction within the Grand Couvert area, just as one of the Paris cycling tours was going by along Allee sous couvert Sud, but as you will notice, they were all walking through the gardens with their bikes, as cycling is not allowed within the grounds.
