It was under the initiative of the French President, Jacques Chirac, that works of modern art and sculptures were first added to the Tuileries Gardens back in 1998, which followed with additional contemporary art works in the year 2000, and here you can see the Personnage III statues by Etienne Martin.

And we took this photo looking in a south westerly direction over the bosquet called the Grande verte nord-ouest, which is one of the sixteen groves surrounded by trees that are located within the Grand Couvert area of the Jardin des Tuileries.
