Photo opportunities are everywhere in Paris, and this is one we captured while another tourist was taking pictures of a bronze statue called Retour de Chasse within the Tuileries Gardens, which is located on the Esplanade des Feuillants in the northern side of the gardens very close to the Louvre Museum.

Now this particular area of the Esplanade des Feuillants is also called the Cour Anglaise, and normally you would see the western facade of the Pavillon de Marsan from here, although as you can tell, this wing of The Louvre was covered up for restoration works, but also just in the image to the left are a set of steps that lead up to a terrace and out onto the Rue de Rivoli.
