HD photograph of Terrasse du Jeu de Paume inside Jardin des Tuileries looking westerly - Page 327
We were in the Tuileries Gardens on the Terrasse du Jeu de Paume close to the Terrasse des Feuillants, when we took this photograph looking in a westerly direction towards the balustrades that overlook the Place de la Concorde, which is the largest square in Paris.

You will find that although this is one of the historical terraces, it was only in the 1800s when Napoleon III was ruling that the building you can see the corner of was constructed as an indoor tennis court, and hence how the terrace got its current name, even though the building has since been turned into a museum.
