Here you can see a view looking in a south easterly direction into the Grand Couvert area of the Tuileries Gardens, which incredibly has over 2000 trees located within just this one section, that is laid out as different groves with pathways between and each one having a different use or theme, just like the Allee sous couvert sud pathway you can see here.

Yet the photo was taken from what is known as the Fer a Cheval area at the western end of the gardens, and this is where they put out orange trees in green crates for the warmer months, which has become a tradition since orange trees were first introduced into France at royal residences after the Italian wars.
