As you are wandering around the Tuileries Garden your eyes are instantly drawn to the magnificent architecture of the former royal palace that is now the impressive Louvre Museum, and the section you can see in this photograph that we took in the Grand Carre area is called the Pavillon de Marsan.

The Musee du Louvre is also responsible for managing this historical open air museum, but there are also lots of free chairs put out by the water features if you just wish to relax in the sun listening to the sound of the fountains.
