HD photograph of boxwood hedges inside Jardin des Tuileries looking south westerly - Page 293
While we were standing in the Jardin du Carrousel section of the Tuileries Gardens, we took this photograph looking over the hedges in a south westerly direction towards another famous tourist attraction of the Eiffel Tower in the distance.

You will find that the Carrousel Gardens were only laid out when the Palais des Tuileries was demolished after it was destroyed by fire during the Paris Commune in 1871, but it was redesigned in 1995 with boxwood hedges added, which was a feature originally used within a formal French garden design, often made into a labyrinth or maze, like here.
