When you first look at this photograph you would think that a tree had fallen down within the Tuileries Gardens and all its roots were exposed, yet incredibly this is actually a modern art work made of bronze to look exactly like a tree, which fits in with its surroundings exceedingly well.

And this can be found within a bosquet, or grove in English, which is one of sixteen within the Grand Couvert area of the Jardin des Tuileries, and this particular one is located on the southern side next to the Potager, and we took this view looking in a south westerly direction.
