You will find numerous different entrances to the Jardin des Tuileries, which are opened daily from 7am or a little later depending upon the time of year, and this photograph shows the far south westerly entrance with its stone steps that lead up to the Terrasse de l'Orangerie behind us and the Terrrasse du Bord de l'Eau in front, overlooking the River Seine.

However, even as far back as the 1600s when the gardens were redesigned and laid out by Andre Le Notre, they were still suitable for the disabled, etc, as you have the very main entrance by the Place de la Concorde and ramps either side that can take you up to the terraces, which is also of benefit for families with young children, pushchairs, and so on.
