The Jardin des Tuileries was the place in Paris where its residents could enjoy promenading through royal gardens, and by the end of the 1800s different entertainments arose, including the opportunity to sail model boats on the basins, which is a tradition that has still continued to this day.

And while we were walking towards the small round basin called the Vivier Nord, we took this photo looking in an easterly direction towards the gentleman organising and repairing the traditional model sailing boats for the fun and delight of many to sail on this historical pond located in the Grand Carre area of the Tuileries Gardens.
