HD photograph from Terrasse de l'Orangerie inside Jardin des Tuileries looking north westerly - Page 265
This time we were on the southern terrace of the Jardin des Tuileries called the Terrasse de l'Orangerie looking in a north westerly direction towards the ornate gilded railings at the entrance to the gardens located at the Place de la Concorde, which have two historical equestrian statues positioned either side that were put in place in the early 1700s.

Now this is regarded as the western entrance to the Tuileries Gardens and beneath the terrace we are standing on, is where you will find some toilets and a small gift shop, although do bear in mind that there is a charge to use the facilities, as with the others located in the grounds, and incredibly the first public toilets in the former royal garden were added in the late 1700s.
