This is a view looking in an easterly direction while we were in a small garden area on the terrace of the Jardin des Tuileries called the Terrasse du Jeu de Paume, which is in the western part of the gardens on the side nearest the Rue de Rivoli and the Place de la Concorde.

And as you can see in this photograph, positioned in the triangular area of the garden you can see a modern art sculpture, which was one of several that were installed within the Tuileries Gardens between 1998 and 1999 under the direction of the French President Jacques Chirac.
