HD photograph of Fer a cheval area inside Jardin des Tuileries looking north easterly - Page 248
We were standing in the Fer a cheval area of the Tuileries Gardens, which is by the western entrance at the Place de la Concorde and close to the Octagonal Basin water feature, and as well as statues you can see one of the fairground attractions in the distance looking almost like a crane.

Now the fairground called the Fete des Tuileries or Fete Foraine des Tuileries is set up each year on the northern part of the gardens for a period of around two months to coincide with Bastille Day celebrations and the summer holidays, so hence we were looking in a north easterly direction when we took this photograph.
