Called Air, here you can see a statue that was produced by Aristide Maillol that was commissioned by the city of Toulouse, and the name relates to the fact that it is dedicated to those who lost their lives working for the pioneering air postal service.

Now the model for this sculpture was Dina Vierny, and she donated this and several other statues to the city of Paris, and it was decided that these would all be placed within the Jardin du Carrousel, which is section of garden in between the original Jardin des Tuileries and the Musee du Louvre, a section of which, you can see in the background.
