Although the Jardin des Tuileries is located in the heart of Paris between the largest square called the Place de la Concorde and the famous Musee du Louvre, plus sees around 15 million visitors each year, yet it is still a tranquil area with lots of greenery and different features, as you can see in this photo.

And this is a view looking in a north westerly direction over the Exedre Sud, which is one of two ponds that have a semi-circular platform at one end called an exedra that each hold an historical statue, and these were part of the redesign plans for the renewal of the Tuileries Gardens instructed by the new French government in 1794.
