HD photograph of Allee de Castiglione inside Jardin des Tuileries looking southerly - Page 237
We were in the Grand Couvert area of the Jardin des Tuileries when we took this photograph looking in a southerly direction from the Esplanade des Feuillants towards the Allee de Castiglione and to the left of the image you can just make out a part of the Aire de Jeux, which is the Children's Playground.

Now you will find that the Tuileries Gardens actually has over 3000 trees planted within it, and the majority of these are within this area that is split up into separate sections called Bosquets in French, or Groves in English, and in a Jardin a la Francaise, the trees were always planted away from the chateau or castle, yet in straight lines to provide a perspective of distance.
