HD photograph of Grand Reserve nord inside Jardin des Tuileries looking south easterly - Page 208
We were looking in a south easterly direction when we took this photograph while we were within the Grand Carre area of the Tuileries Gardens close to the Vivier nord, which is one of the two small round basins that were put in place within the 1600s as part of the Jardin a la Francaise design during the reign of King Louis XIV.

But to be even more precise, this image was taken looking over the Grand Reserve nord towards the Grille Lemonnier area of the Jardin des Tuileries by the gates and terrace with its historical vases that leads to the Jardin du Carrousel, which was created after the Palais des Tuileries had been demolished, and this area then leads on towards the famous Louvre Museum.
