Although some of the Tuileries Gardens remain the same from when they were laid out in a formal French style back in the 1600s, some features are more recent, even though they are also historical, just like this pond with its statues found around the South Exedra area.

Now this particular feature is one of two that can be found within the Grand Couvert area of the Jardin des Tuileries, and we took this photo looking in a south easterly direction, also showing a part of the restaurant that overlooks the pond and South Exedra, which is spelt Exedre in French.
