As you are walking around the Tuileries Gardens at strategic places you will come across different tourist information boards, just like this one on the Terrasse de Jeu de Paume, which provides some general details about the building and its location.

And on the board it states that the Jeu de Paume is now a museum dedicated to contemporary photography, located on the extremities of the Terrasse des Feuillants, which is the way we were looking, with the buildings behind being on the Rue de Rivoli.
