Although there are many historical statues and vases located within the Jardin des Tuileries that date as far back as the 17th century, you will also be able to discover some modern and contemporary art sculptures that have been installed within the gardens since the start of the 1990s.

So, this particular sculpture is called Force et Tendresse, which was produced by Eugene Dodeigne, and this is located on the Allee des Feuillants, which is on the northern side of the gardens by the Rue de Rivoli, and we were looking down this alley in a north westerly direction with a wing of the famous Musee du Louvre behind us.
