HD photograph of Carrousel Garden bronze statue at Jardin des Tuileries looking north westerly - Page 189
Dina Vierny, who was the former model and muse of the artist Aristide Maillol, donated several different statues to the City of Paris, which were then placed within the Jardin du Carrousel section of the Tuileries Gardens in order to promote his works within a free public place for everyone to enjoy.

So here you can see one of these statues called Douleur, or Pain in English, that was originally designed to represent a grieving woman, which was sculpted as a Monument to the dead of Ceret, yet was reproduced in bronze and can now be seen within the southern part of the Carrousel Gardens.
