HD photograph from Fer a Cheval area inside Jardin des Tuileries looking north, north east - Page 163
While in the Fer a Cheval area of the Tuileries gardens on a stormy Paris morning, we took this photograph looking in a north, north easterly direction from close to the Roseraie sud over the Bassin Octogonal towards the northern terrace and the Rue de Rivoli behind.

And you can also see many green crates, or plant pots, that have been put out in straight lines that contain orange trees, which is in keeping with a tradition where royal gardens would have an orangery to protect the trees from frost etc, and these would be brought outside into the gardens during warmer months.
