We were within the Grand Carre area of the Tuileries Gardens looking in a south easterly direction towards the famous Musee du Louvre, with the western facade of the Pavillon de Flore in view, which looks over the Terrasse du Bord de l'Eau.

And when we took this photograph, we were standing by the grass area known as a parterre, which was named the Petit Reserve sud and you can also see that this path leads to a small round basin and water feature called the Vivier sud.
